Category Hero Ted
Hey Teddy Bear Fans, welcome to the very last page of the Hero Ted adventure Terror In The Sand Pit and thank you for joining me on this journey in Teddy Bear Superheroics. It looks like Hero Ted is going to resolve this conflict in true classic Superman style, leaving us with the question, ‘What do you think should happen next?’
Drawing the Hero Ted comic was something very special for me and first real attempt at a multi-age, multi-panel comic book story. I have learned a lot drawing this book and it has helped me grow my drawing style and storytelling ability.
What Is Next?
I have an idea to try something a little unique with Hero Ted and hope to be able to announce it soon...Read More
Welcome to Hero Ted, the Terror In the Sand Pit web comic and the penultimate page in this adventure story. Now Hero Ted has got the Sand Pit Monster to calm down, perhaps now we can learn why he was so upset? The explanation is so simple it is sad… Poor lil’Monster… Do you think Hero Ted can help him?
Now The End Is Near
We are very close to finishing off this Hero Ted story and closing the book on first set of stories featuring this Teddy Bear Superhero. It has been a journey for me, each page I grew more confident in telling the story and I think the evolving style will be a boon for pulling in the younger readers these stories are aimed at.

Did You Notice?
Did you notice the transition from full page illustration to comic strip? The idea of Hero Ted is its an easy reader comic book that introduces a younger audience to comic stories. The transition is part of that process, plus my confidence in presenting stories in this format is growing.

The Terror In The Sand Pit Continues, but it looks like Hero Ted now has the upper hand and might be able to end the crisis with the Sand Pit Monster… That’s if the Monster will listen to him.
The Sand Pit fight is the high point of the story and while it makes for quick reading I feel I’ve been drawing it for a couple of months now. As I push out a page a week (work/life schedule allows) I guess I’ve been working on this section for almost two months now… I don’t mind it has certainly helped me grow my art skills and I feel much more confident drawing his adventures than I did right at the beginning of this project.
The End Is Nigh
Yes, you’ve read that right… This current Hero Ted story is nearly run and I thank you for hanging with me and reading away...Read More
Welcome to Hero Ted: Terror In The Sand Pit Page Eleven and it looks like Hero Ted plan for stopping the Sand Pit Monster might just work.
Snowed In, But No Art
You may have noticed that over the weekend the East Coast got hit be a fairly large snow storm… So big they gave it a name ‘Jonas’ I had hoped I would be able to snatch time to draw a page of Hero Ted art… But instead I spent it shoveling snow.
Now we got 3ft dumped on us here in Baltimore, and I shoveled my house, two elderly Neighbors and the Next Door Neighbor out. I literally spent three days shoveling snow if you count the moment the Plow came… And Plows us out and in at the same time!
Sadly no art happened… But do not panic! I have a plenty of pages in the back pocket and this story is about a month away from finishing.
